How Do I Create a UVP Video?
You can curate your own UVP video with a little help from your friendly neighborhood videographer—us! We’ve been around the block a few times with creating UVP videos for businesses in the service sector, and we’ve gotten pretty good at it. Here's our tried-and-true process for helping you share your unique value with potential customers.
Proposal
This is the stage where we get to know your business, your hurdles, and your marketing goals to pitch a UVP video as unique as your business. Once your team is satisfied with the UVP we’ve created, we will draft a proposal for getting your video recorded. If you agree to the concept, the shoot timeline, and the pricing, we can roll on to step 2.
Production Book
You might also call this stage “onboarding,” or “get to know ya,” because that’s exactly what we’re looking to do. Before we can draft a UVP script, we first need to get to know your business as well as we know our own. We’ll learn how you acquire clients, the process your clients experience as they book your services, the process your team uses to execute a service, your branding and marketing strategy, and more. We keep track of all of all we learn in our Production Book, our one-stop reference for building your UVP video. Once we know enough about the process, we head into step 3.
Development
Whether you’ll want to work from a script or just from a list of questions, we’re here to help. We can help you draft a script from scratch and work with you on editing it to perfection (and help you come across cool, calm, and collected in front of the camera, like Jeff in his UVP video). Our team is also equipped to draft interview questions and conduct interviews that get people talking (and help them to say things that make your business shine, like in this video we shot with the Nobis team and a few satisfied customers).
Filming
Once the script is approved and the filming date arrives, we’ll hit the ground running with our professional videography team. We’ll provide camera footage, drone footage, and top-quality sound coverage as we work to capture what makes your business unique. We love to meet the team while we’re on-site! Aside from making friends, it’s a great opportunity to learn more about what makes your business special. Then it’s off to the editors for step 5.
Editing
We like to say we’ll “edit ‘till we get it.” We aren’t going to rest until you’re satisfied with the video we deliver. We will handle choosing and licensing music, transcription editing, video editing, special effects, and more. We'll give you and your team a chance to approve or request changes, and repeat the process until you’re ready to give it a confident “yes” in step 6.
Delivery & Beyond!
We’ll deliver a high-quality video to you that you can leverage to all of your favorite platforms. These videos make great featured videos for websites and YouTube channels, perform well on social media, and can even be leveraged into paid advertising campaigns. But we don’t stop at delivery. Once you’ve got your UVP video, the sky is the limit.
